# i know everyone would say the main aspect of this season was damon and elena # and them getting closer etc but actually its been about elena not being able to let stefan go # him going off with klaus to save damon she didnt give up on looking for him her getting closer to damon # and knowing how damon felt about her etc # stefan losing his humanity and being a ripper # she still couldnt give up on him despite the danger she was in and putting everyone else around her in to continue pursuing stefan # she still did everything in her power to get him back # from 3x01 i love you stefan hold on to that never let that go # to 3x22 letting damon go because despite whatever she feels for him its no comparison to what she feels for stefan # despite everything she still never stopped loving him # she saw him at his absolute worst and still loved him and couldnt let him go # she still respected him and it never effected her opinions and love of/for him # so all this season has proven is elena cant let stefan go and they never stopped loving each other # and elena being attracted to the danger that damon can give her # lol logic and epic failure at its best # stelena # otp # that kind of love never dies # the vampire diaries # my stuff
