I don’t even ship Datherine and this scene pissed me off. SLOPPY writing -__-

I died laughing when he said that. I think perhaps it’s not so much the writing, maybe they did it on purpose. He’s trying to hurt her back because of what she did to him. Like Stefan said, Damon doesn’t get mad, he gets even - tit for tat. He’s doing everything in his power to show her he doesn’t give a crap, which obviously means he does still care and he does still hurt.
